Best Friends Maternity Session

Last week I photographed a "Best Friend's Maternity Session".  They were so cute and giggly :)
Their due dates are only three weeks a part...I see a lot of play dates in the future for the babies.
Cortney is going to be a first time mom, so this will be a very exciting time for her, and this will be Sarah's second child.  So, this will be very exciting for her daughter to be a big sister and a wonderful time for Sarah to be able to see the bond of her to two children.

Baby #2 On The Way

Well, I am so excited to have Nicole come back to have me photograph her second pregnancy.  I photographed her first one two years ago where I guessed that they were going to have a baby boy.  Which they did and he is just a sweet little boy.  I can't believe two years have gone by.

Now I get to continue watching their family grow as I photograph her second pregnancy, and I will have the honor to photograph their second child as well.  This time Nicole and Jake found out what they are having and I am very excited for them!!  I am not going to tell you, because you will just have to come back to see what they have...lol!

Precious Baby "E"

What a precious baby.  Baby "E" came in for her newborn portraits at six weeks.  I can't believe how much babies grow in six weeks.  I typically photograph newborns between birth and 7 days old, so when Baby "E" came in, I was amazed.  Don't get me wrong, she STILL was tiny.

She did so good and of course I was able to get my sleeping images that I love doing with newborns, but I also was able to get some of her smiling :)  She has a beautiful smile.  I had a fantastic time with Baby "E" and her mama.

Baby "J"

Ahhh...baby "J".  What a sweet little guy.  His eyes are so captivating I could have just gazed in his eyes the whole time that he was at the studio.  Baby "J" was also a very content little guy and was happy to be looking around and seeing the new sights.  Ya know, just taking it all in and not having a care in the world.

I have to tell you that he has one of the best laughs I have heard from a four month old.  His laugh reminds me of the commercial with the baby sitting in the highchair and the dog is barking in the back and the little baby was just a laughing every time the dog barked.  His laugh was amazing, so I loved it when his mama was tickling his thighs and under his arms.  It was AWESOME!



My Sweet Valentines

Today I took my children in the studio to do a mini valentine shoot.  Seems my kids are the last ones to be photographed, but I need to get Valentine Cards made up so they have something to hand out to their classmates.  For once, they weren't photographed at the last minute...haha!! 

I love these two images of my kiddos, but I will choose different images for their school valentine cards, just cause.  Well, I am sure they wouldn't want to see my son shirtless, but I on the other hand love his shirtless
valentines :)  My daughter loves to pose listening to Lady Gaga or Avril Lavigne.  You can see the sass in this pose :)  So, here are my favorite images from their session.

I also designed these two wallet templates that they will use for their school valentine handouts.

Sweet Lil' "J"

Sweet Lil' "J" came to visit me yesterday.  She was having her seven month portraits taken.  She wasn't quite sitting at six months so we waited a little bit until she could sit.  She did very well, but she sure made us all work hard on getting her to smile.  She was a little stingy with those smiles, but we definitely captured the ones she did give us. 
Lil' "J" also discovered she has a tooth that came in.  She was thrusting her little tongue out quite a bit to feel the new tooth that poked through.  It was so stinkin' cute...she made me giggle :)

Sweet Little Valentine

Here is Little Miss "R" who came in for her Valentine Mini Session yesterday.  Little Miss "R" is so sweet and so full of energy (I wish I had all that energy).  So, everytime I photograph this little girl I have to give her candy to get her to stay in front of my lights so I can photograph her (I am sure her mama loves me afterwards...haha).  She moves very quick, so the sweethearts came out right away :)  Gotta love bribing with candy...lol.  But, I can tell you this, Little Miss "R" sure makes a "sweet little valentine"!!
