Studio Update

Well, well, well. It has been busy last month with some construction going on at the studio. My studio used to be a double long garage and now is going to be completely, souly a studio. Since we moved into our house three years ago, my office has been in my house while my camera room was in the back half of the double-long garage. I did use the front part for all my props, but everyone was using it.
Through the last two years, little ones have been growing and becoming very active and curious. So, it is time to move my office out of my house. Which is fine with me, because I get tired of having to clean my house all the time and then to have my kids make a mess before clients come. My kids and my husband also like to lounge in the pj's when they get home from work. So, I am trying to save myself some of the embarassment...lol
It will be good to be out there, because it will make it so much easier to manage my time with work and my family. It will be no more editing while the kids are watching tv or whatever excuse I come up with. I will now have time to spend with my family once I leave the office. It is a good thing, and it is definitely needed. My kids are growing up way to fast and I have been missing it.
So, with new beginnings about to happen (which includes my sister working part time for me), I have to share some images of the progress. I can't wait until it is completely done and ready to enjoy :)

Littlest Angels

Recently I held my first "Littlest Angels" Calendar Charity Event.  To be honest, I thought there would have been more of a response than I received.  I guess I just have high expectations, but I know I will probably do some thing a little different for next year.  Yes, there will be another one, and it will become an annual charity event that I will hold at the studio of Angi Randall Photography.  The "Littlest Angels" Calendar Charity Event is a fundraising event for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  All session fees and calendar sales will be given to LLS to help find a cure for blood diseases.

I would like to share with you some of the "Littlest Angels" that I had the honor to photograph for such a wonderful cause.  Here they are:

aren't they just beautiful?  Bless these little angels for helping out.  I have a few more, but I will post them all once I have the calendars printed.

Thank you to all who participated in the "Littlest Angels" Calendar Charity Event!

A Sweet Little Angel

This sweet little angel is so stinkin' precious.  She reminded me a lot of her older brother when I photographed him as a newborn.  Miss "A" definitely looks a lot like her brother...you can tell they are siblings.
Well, let me tell you that this little angel was wide awake when her mama took her out of her carseat.  So, everything I had set up for a sleepy angel portrait had to be moved to the side so we could start with brother and family photos first.  She did eventually get sleepy and we were able to do all the sleepy images that I love
to do :)
Enjoy the sneak peek of this sweet little angel.

Lil' Man On The Go

Oh how this lil' guy had us on the go!!  This was one of the busiest little 9 month olds I have had in a long time.  He was also a happy-go-lucky little boy as well.  I LOVE THAT :)

Lil' "R" would walk around the chair or he would squat down by the chair.  He was crawling all around the camera room and playing with his dinosaurs.  Then he wanted to crawl down off my platform floor (it is a six in drop...not far, but high enough).  So his mama was close by at all times.  He sure gave us our work out, but it was so much fun!  What a little busy body :)

Here are a few sneak peeks for you to enjoy.

Precious Little "A"

This little girl is one precious little girl.  She has beautiful eyes and a beautiful smile.  What is so amazing with this little girl is that she was born with a cleft palate and a cleft lip, but that doesn't matter.  She is a happy, beautiful baby girl.  I have the images to prove it :)

Isn't she precious?  I love this little girl,  and I am so honored that I get to watch her grow and change within her first year of life.  Life is amazing.
